STOCKMARKETS Worries about higher interest rates are taking their toll on Wall Street. In the week to August 4th the Dow Jones Industrial Average drifted downwards for the fourth successive week, and the S&P 500 fell by 4.4%. Brussels fell by 3.5% to a new low for the year.
