Donald Trump won Iowa’s Republican caucus with around 50% of the vote, triumphing in all but one county. Mr Trump, magnanimous in victory, said it was “time now for everybody, our country, to come together”. Mr DeSantis criticised news outlets for calling the result “before people even got a chance to vote”.
