Trump gag order largely upheld; Hunter Biden indicted on more charges

It had barred Mr Trump from attacking court employees, potential witnesses and Jack Smith, the special counsel prosecuting the former president for allegedly trying to steal the 2020 election. (Mr Trump denies wrongdoing.) The ruling on Friday allows Mr Trump to go after Mr Smith, but explicitly bars him from attacking relatives of lawyers or court employees—an addition the court apparently believed necessary.
