STOCKMARKETS The Nikkei 225 closed 2.0% up on the week despite the rise in interest rates. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose above 11,000 for the first time since April, to end the week 0.9% higher. Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Toronto and Sydney all hit record highs.
