America's visible-trade deficit hit a record $37.2 billion in May; the 12-month deficit was $398.8 billion. France's 12-month trade surplus edged up to $14.8 billion in May. Denmark's 12-month current-account surplus narrowed to $1.6 billion in April. The euro's trade-weighted value fell by 1.1%, and the dollar's rose by 0.7%.
