The Nasdaq Composite index lost a total of 5.1% on July 18th-19th, though it ended the week barely changed. High-tech shares boosted Frankfurt, which gained 4.3%. The Nikkei 225 lost 2.1% to fall below 17,000 again, and the Topix fell by 4.0%.
