America's industrial production edged up by 0.2% in June, shading the year-on-year increase down slightly to 5.8%. The 12-month growth in Britain's retail-sales volume quickened to 4.5% last month. The unemployment rate in the Netherlands fell to 2.7% in June; Swedish unemployment rose to 5.1%.
